Looking for the family of Frederick J Crittenden.
Mother Mary I. Crittenden (maiden name possibly Schwartz.)
appears in Washington, DC as a widow in 1877.
Frederick was born about 1870--his father was only known
as Frederick. Mary died in 1887, birth around 1853.
Family's origin unclear, variously listed as MD, DC, VA, NY, OH.
Frederick J. married Emma Ofenstein, had 8 children and died in
1912 in DC.
