Hi Shirley,

I have a Crittenden / Crowder connection, but it may not be of any help to you. Here it is:

Robert Greene Crittenden (b. 1783 VA d. 1868 AL) m. Nancy Crowder (b. 1788 GA d. 1860 AL) They had 11 children - no Marcia but one of whom was Martha Crittenden (b. 1822 d. 1923 - at age 101 ?!). She is said to have married a man named Terrell. Robert Greene Crittenden lived in North Carolina for some years between 1795 & 1820. By 1820 he was living in GA and was still there in 1830 & 1840. In 1850 and 1860 he was living in AL.
