You are probably from the Cherokee Crittendens
Try Starrs Old Cherokee Geneology. Tadpole sounds
like early Cherokee name. Scores of Crittendens
in that book all OK connected... all from NC?TN?GA\
before trail of tears. Your family on Dawes roll?
that should have much info.
