John Jordan's geneoology going back to England was
documented by WPA project in 1930s long
Family came from Surrey England to Tidewater
VA in late 1600's John Jordan, Wilderness
pioneer also documents this.
Copy of report by Wpa about 500 pp at Auburn
University Library in Auburn GA.
I am probably from same family... but can't
find all connections
I am descended from John Seales Crittenden of
Elbert Co. Ga. born around 1817 m. Evaline
Driver.. If you have any info on him would love
it. His father was a jonathan some say but probably
not John Jordan.
Someone at Auburn library might be willing to
copy book for you. Kentucky probably has
many copies.
