Greetings, Bradley! Can you tell me the source for the given name Charles for the Crittenden who married Nanny Downing? I would dearly love to know. This is not my family, but I have worked on this genealogy for more than 10 years now and they might as well be mine. I probably know them as well, if not better! (they do belong to a good friend, though!)

I think there probably are not pictures of Moses or Edith, likely not Clary or Kinney, although possibly. That being said, you might try getting hold of a book called Tahlequah and the Cherokee Nation by Duvall and also The Cherokee Nation and Tahlequah also by Duvall and have a look at the pics in them. I know some of Moses' Crittenden's Robbins cousins are in them, he might be, too. I can't get to my copies to be sure. The first is the oral history and the second is more a pictorial history, but Simmie Smith (Persima Robbins Smith) and one of her sons is in one of them.

I have a large amount of research on these mixed-Cherokee families and would be happy to share what I have. Feel free to email me.
