Crittenden Family Genealogy Forum

It is absolutely wonderful to finally find the right family. I have been working on this for a very long time. I thought I would never get close with so many different Crittenden families in that area. I am so happy to find someone who could put this together for me. Thank you for the information. A few of the states after the name, for instance La Vera, seem to be incorrect. Clarence Marian Crittenden was married to Leona Hitlet. Their children were, a son named Jean who died as a chld of an illness, Robert Jean, my grandfather, La Vera A.K.A Lesie, who died young diving into shallow water in Michigan, and David, who died in Florida. I had no idea about some of the other states. Clarence's death certificate says he was born in Alabama. Clarence's family was in Michigan continously after they got here except when David moved to Flordia. I never would have been able to figure all that out on my own. Do you know anything further back about Robert H. Crittenden? My Dad, Daniel "Dan", Linda, and Kevin, who are still alive and Robert "Bob" and Nanette who are deceased are my grandparents Robert J. crittenden and Annie Katherine Cathey who was from TN.'s children. My grandpa's are both deceased, but my grandfather talked about Civil war stuff a lot. I was wondering if any of our ancestors fought in that war?
