I recently found a death certificate for my great grandfather Clarence Crittenden. It says he was born in Alabama. I do not have the information on hand, but he was born there in April 1905 or 1906. I will have to get back with my dad for the exact date. I cannot find this Clarence on anyone's family tree in Alabama. I am looking for anyone who might know this family. I do not know how long he was in Alabama. I know his son, my grandfather, met my grandmother in Tennessee. By the time my grandfather Robert J. Crittenden was raising kids, his father Clarence, and his brothers Dave, and Lavern, were all here in Michigan with him.
