I think that the Wilson Co. TN, Crittenden family was in Nottoway Co. VA, in 1820. Prior was listed as being over 45
(he was born ca. 1784)and Nancy was 16-26 (she was born ca. 1794). There were 1 male 18-26, 2 males 16-18, 1 male 10-16, and 4 males under 10.

I have no idea about the three oldest males listed...but perhaps the younger ones would be:
(1) William H.Crittenden (b.ca. 1810, VA) married 3-13-1850, WCT, to Frances Nailor (b. 1830,VA) living in 2nd Civil District, Wilson Co., 1850
(2) John J. Crittenden (b.ca. 1815, VA), county sheriff in 1850, living with parents
(3) Robert Crittenden (b.ca. 1817, VA) married 4-30-1845, WCT, Matilda Ann Hays (b.ca. 1825, TN) living in 4th Civil District with two children Ophelia, 4, and John H., age 6 mo.
(4) Edwin Crittenden (b.ca. 1819, VA) teacher, living with parents in 1850

There was one Crittenden (John) living in Amelia Co., VA, in 1810, age 26-45, and his wife was 16-26; they had one son and 3 daughters under 10.
