Bradley, THANKS for reply.
Usually don't get ANY reply to questions on my dad's side of family.

When the BAKERS came from N C to Cape Girardeau with the other German families they were BEKKERS!

When they got to Erath and Hood Cos in 1857 or so he was only a BAKER!

Understand the CRITES and TINNENS helped populate the area down there but BAKER died from civil war wound in 1863 and family not mentioned to speak of in the county histories...
