Proof of Harlan Critchfield in Omaha,in the 1912-1914

Looking for proof of Harlan Critchfield living in Omaha. All I have been able to find on this couple is Alzina Critchfield living at 5506 35th, in the 1914 City Directory. Harlan died sometime during 1912-1914. Left Alzina with child born Sept. 19 1913, Robert Harlan Critchfield Sr.. Alzina then married Alvin Shepard in 1915. I think that Harlan died in a streetcar accident, in Omaha. Does anyone have proof of Harlan Critchfield?? Can't get any further in genealogy without him. Also how can I get a birth certificate for my grandfather Robert Harlan Critchfield Sr.?
