According to census records, children were:
John b ca 1844 OH
Celia b 1846 OH (my great great grandmother)
Sidney? or Lewis C? b ca 1848 OH
Francis W (male) b ca 1852 OH
Alta A b ca 1861 MI
(married Joseph Raymond in Baraga Co MI 1881)
Cornelia b ca 1863 MI
(married Frank Alvah Prince in Alpena Co MI 1885)
Both Ethan and Elizabeth "Betsy" died after 1880. That is the last census year I have for them, so far. Unknown burial place for them.
In 1850 the family was in Portland (Erie) OH (unknown where they were in 1860) and in 1870 in L'Anse (Houghton) MI. In 1880 Ethan was in Lawrence Co, Dakota Territory, listed as a miner. Elizabeth was in Baraga Co MI for the 1880 census with daughters Alta and Cornelia "Nealie" living with her. Ethan and Elizabeth were listed as married. Census shows Elizabeth was born in NY, father in NY and mother in IRE.
