William B. Critchfield native of Greene Co. PA b. Jan 7, 1845. John and Sarah (Freeland) Crihfield, his parents, were both born in Greene Co. PA, his mother died in Jan 1850. He married on April 4, 1869 to Ann C. Harper in in Doddridge Co. West Va. Their children were: Emma M. b 30 Aug 1871, Joseph W. b. April 6, 1873, James H. b. July 5, 1875, Arthur W., b. May 8, 1878, Alice M. b. February 26, 1880, Henry W. b. April 22, 1882. Levi and Clarissa (Fleming) Harper were the parents of Ann.
Joseph W. married 3 times.

2) Oct. 18, 1903 md. Alice Abbott
3) Oct 25, 1914 md. Ursley J. Cutlip
Ursley and Joseph had 2 sons.

John Crihfield b. 29 Feb. 1822 & Sarah Freedland were from Greene Co. PA John's parents were John Crihfield b. 23 Feb 1786 and Sarah Whitlash b. 1798.
