Critchfield/Stull union rejected

I am looking for a Stull/Critchfield connection. My g-grandfather m. a Miss Stull and they were only together for a short time when Critchfield died. The Critchfield family did not like this union and when thier son died they kicked Mrs.Critchfield who was with child, out. The son's name (Robert H. Critchfield) and his mother tried to make it on their own. the Critchfield family refused to help her because she was German. I do not know the first names of either of these two,Can you please help fill in the gaps?!
