CRIST, MUELLER, NOWLIN, TILLMAN, CARTMELL, COLLINGS, HAWKINS
My POSSIBLE maternal 6th. great grandfather is Nicholas Heinrich CRIST b. 29 Oct 1716 in Emmerns, Germany the son of Johanne Jorge Nicholas CRIST and Anna Elizabeth MUELLER. He d. 11 Feb 1783 and married 25 Jan 1739 in PA or VA to Ana Catherine NOWLIN (daughter of John NOWLIN and Ana Elizabeth TILLMAN).
Nicholas and Catherine had the following children:
1. John Jacob b. 29 Oct 1739, m. 6 May 1763 to Regenoh CARTMELL
2. Nicholas Heinrich b. 10 Sept 1740, married 6 May 1763 to Sarah CARTMELL
3. Phillip Henry b. 6 June 1742, married 6 May 1763 to Rachel CARTMELL
4. George Heinrich b. 23 Nov 1744 married 5 March 1767 to Elizabeth COLLINGS
5. William Jorge b. 10 Oct 1745, married 1 June 1769 to Elizabeth HAWKINS
6. John Michael b. 25 Sept 1746, married 1 June 1769 to Ursula HAWKINS (these are my 5th. great grandparents)
7. Mary Elizabeth b. 14 June 1749, d. 15 Jun 1749.
Please understand that none of the above information has been proven yet. Excerpts from an account book that Nicholas was suppose to have started in 1738 when he left Rotterdam in 1738 with his 4 brothers is where this information came from.
