My maternal 4th. great grandfather is John CRIST Jr. b. 30 May 1774 at Harmon’s Creek, Washington Co., PA the son of John Michael CRIST Sr. and Ursula (HAWKINS??). He died 17 Sep 1845 in Augusta TWP, Carroll Co., OH and married 11 Feb 1795 to Sarah TOLAN (daughter of John TOLAN and Esther DWIRE).

John Jr. and Sarah had the following children:
1. Jacob b. 9 Feb 1796 in Brooke Co., VA, married 18 Nov 1819 in Carroll Co., OH to Christina EBERSOLE
2. Nicholas b. 17 Dec 1797 in Brooke Co., VA, married 20 Feb 1821 in Carroll Co., OH to Mary E. EBERSOLE
3. William W. b. 27 Feb 1800 in Brooke Co., VA, d. 13 Aug 1862 in Owen Co., IN, and married 1818 to Nancy FRANCE
4. John Tolen b. 9 Feb 1802 in Brooke Co., VA, married 16 Sept 1828 in Belmont Co., OH to Barbara BROWN
5. Henry b. 3 May 1804 in Brooke Co., VA, d. 8 Feb 1877 Carroll Co., OH, married 4 Jan 1827 in Columbiana Co., OH to Bathsheba WALTON
6. George b. 17 Dec 1806 in Brooke Co., VA
7. Lin Hambleton b. 11 Sept 1809 in Brooke Co., VA
8. James T. b. 9 June 1810 in Brooke Co., VA, d. 30 Sept 1871, married 1835 to Mary MYERS
9. Isaac D. b. 17 March 1812 in Brooke Co., VA, d. 19 Jan 1873 in Owen Co., IN, married 1 Dec 1834 in Augusta TWP, Carroll Co., OH to Susannah FRANCE (these are my 3rd. great grandparents)

12. Malinda b. 8 Feb 1818 in Columbiana Co., OH, d. 29 Dec 1892, married 19 Oct 1837 in Augusta TWP, Carroll Co., OH to John LONG
