Looking for info on Joel Crist and ancestors. Joel was born in early 1800's. I'm not sure where. He married Eleanor Kinney on July 23, 1846 in possibly Clark Co., OH He died on 31 March, 1951. Joel had two sons and lived to see only one of them. the two sons are Joel and John. I descend through John. Eleanor moved to Davis Co., IA and remarried to T.G. Davis. I don't know if Joel died in OH or in IA because all the siblings of Eleanor, her parents, and grandparents moved to Davis Co., IA in 1848. So it is possible he could have died in OH or IA. Any help is appreciated. Dave Strunk
