Benjamin Riggle Crist as b. ca. 1841, Madisonville, Ohio. He was a son of Henry Crist b. 1808 d. 28 Oct. 1877, Hamilton Co., Ohio and wife, Elizabeth Riggle b. 1818, d. 22 April 1887, Hamilton Co., Ohio. The local newspapers there should have an obituary for one or both of this couple. If you locate them, send me a copy please.
This Henry Crist was son of Petrus Crist and wife Ruth Osborn, I don't know who their other children were.
Petrus was the oldest child of Christian Crist b. 15 May 1745, near Stoney Point, Montgomery, Orange Co., NY, d. 4 Dec. 1814 at home of his son, Moses Crist, Montgomery Co., Ohio and his wife, Elizabeth Weller, da. of Johann Frederick Weller and wife, Anna Margaretha Kochin Weller b. 1750 Orange Co., NY d. 1819 Montgomery Co., Ohio both br. Hopewell Cemetery there. I would suggest you look for your other folks there on the chance they went back to be buried with the rest of the family.
