The clerk in Greene Co AL who looked up my gr-gr-grandfather's marriage (Leroy CRISP to Mary HILL, 1849) said she found a Spier CRISP in the Probate file. Other CRISP names listed in his probate pack are Duncan, John, and Naomi. The file is 54 pages (copies $1/page plus $10 search fee).
