Elvira Crisp of Graham/Macon Co., NC

I am searching for any information on Elvira Crisp, who was born 1866 in Graham Co., NC (then Cherokee Co., NC) and died in 1950 in Franklin, Macon Co., NC. She married John Wesley Mashburn (called Wesley), although I haven't pinpointed the date yet. Her death certificate lists her father as Nathan Crisp, but when I checked the census records, Nathan doesn't appear to have a daughter named Elvira. I only found one other mention of an Elvira Crisp, and that was in the 1870 Census of Cherokee Co., NC. A Bowers Crisp is listed as having a daughter Elvira age 8. This could be the same Elvira (her age on subsequent census records varies and I'm not positive that 1866 is her actual birth year, although this is what is listed on her death certificate). I would appreciate any help that anyone could give and would be willing to share information with anyone who needs it.
