I don't have a Rufus, but I do have a R.S. Crisp b.1850 in TX who m.Susan Tennessee Crisp b.1849 in AR. They had 3 children. It sounds to me as though you are looking at a different branch of Crisp than any I have. Would be interested in sharing any info if you want.
