I am also looking for family of Mary Matilday (Polly) Crisp who married Enoch Rose of Cherokee County,N.C. Their son Emanusl Lafayette Rose would school children find a way across the Octee Hover in Cherokee County,N.C. Thats what I read in a historical article. Any info wpuld be appreciated. Mary Matilday (Polly) Crisp and Enoch Rose were my 4th great grandparents. Sincerely, Tony Lee Ferguson. Waiting for reply.
