Looking for information on the family of Rebecca CRISP b: 1832 md. Roten/Rotan GREEN b: 1830 Roten GREEN is buried in Meigs Co., Tn. Rebecca CRISP GREEN may be buried in a cemetery in Ellijay,Ga. She may have moved to Georgia after the death of her husband to be near family. The GREEN family was listed in Meigs Co.,Tn in 1850 and Roane Co.,Tn in 1860
Children according to 1850 and 1860 Tn. Census:
1.Thomas GREEN b: Abt. 1849. Thomas was not listed on the 1860 census. He may have died young OR ran away from home.
2.George W. GREEN b: Abt. 1853
3.Sarah E. GREEN b: Abt. 1855 4.William GREEN b: Abt. 1857 5.Mattie Jane GREEN b: July 11, 1869 in Roane County,Tn d: 1942 in Harriman,Roane County,Tennessee buried in Piney Grove Cemetary,Harriman,Tn. Mattie Jane md. Benjamin Harley MARTIN b: April 14, 1845 in Asheville,North Carolina m: October 13, 1892 in Rockwood,Tennessee-Roane County d: September 28,1940 in Harriman, Tennessee also buried Piney Grove Cemetary.
