No, Shirley, I haven't read or seen that book. That's interesting, though, because the first marriage we have on record is Ancil Crisp in Floyd Co. in 1820. Abel was already dead by then, but we don't have a death date, but supposedly in KY. So, it would have been possible for him to have had a son married in NC just before they moved to KY. I think I'm definitely going to start researching Wilkes Co NC. Thanks much.
