Do you have the ANCESTERS AND DECENDANTS OF JAMES MILTON CRISP (1834-1925) book by Orville B. Hoy? James Milton Crisp was my great-great grandfather. His father was a John Crisp B. 1800 married on 25July 1818 in Wilkes Co. NC to Cassandra Coffey. On their marriage record there was an Abel Crisp listed as BDS. (Bondsman); and a Mary Martin as witness. Cassandra is listed as Cassey Coffey. We have never been able to find John's parents. Is there a John in Abel and Susanah Jarrell's family?
