what lineage are u from? I am from John Alfred's line.His son is Orlando Randolph, who is my great-grand father. I am looking for information on the birth parents of Orlando's wife. Rumor has it that she was adopted but I haven'f found evidence of it.
Her name was Mary Jane Taylor.Their children were: Jessie Gordon, Holbert Sherman(my grand-father), Randolph, Zenia, Mintie, Brisco,Rayle, and there are others that have slipped my mind at the moment. Most of the children settled in Henderson Co. NC.
If you have any info it would be greatly appreciated. Even if u don't, we could be distant cousins.
