I am working on a CRISP family from Wright Co. MO, 102d district on 1850 census. I saw on the Wright Co. Genealogy Page that there used to be a Crisptown, but no mention why it doesn't exist any more. When I go to the library next, I plan on looking for Army Corps of Engineers reports of dams in that area.
