My ggg-grandfather was William Mansil Crisp b. 9 March 1788 in South Carolina. He married Hannah Wilson b. 16 May 1791. They were married in N. Carolina. He was a military man and moved quite extensively over his life. He eventually went to Oregon where he had been appointed to be the first Governor of Oregon. He died prior to that appointment going into effect. I have a lot on his descendents but not much on his ancestors. Sincerely, Nancy Crisp Worley
