Thank you so very much for all of your help!! I am extremely grateful. You've been so helpful. I have a feeling the Robert Eglon Crisp is the right one, but I'm doing a little more research. I just feel like it's him because he lived in NC, and the Robert E Crisp who divorced Effie was also in NC. And I know he had other children, which is listed in the article about his death.
I'm not sure what Effie's maiden name was, but I don't believe it was Crisp. I think she married into that when she married Robert E. Crisp. I know that Effie's middle name was Mae, but that's about all I know. So I'm not sure if she remarried or if she just took her maiden last name again.
