Hi my name is Sarah Suggs. I have decided that I would like to know more about my family history. So this is where I start. The only real thing that I know is that my great grandmother's maiden name is crisp. I believe it was Sarah Jane Crisp. She married Lindsey Ray. They had Two children named Irma Ray and Nancy Ray. The family lived in Charlotte North Carolina. I know most of my family came from Cherokee I am not sure if it was the Ray side or the Crisp side though.But I believe that it is the crisp side i remember going to a family reunion there when I was a child and Irma saying that it was her mothers family. Anyone out there with any kind of information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all and god bless.
