My mothers maiden name was Ruth Lula CRISP.
Her dad was George B. Crisp. My mom's mom
was named Lula Mae. George's parents were
Jim CRISP (he married Molly Howard).
All we know from there is Jim Crisp, his dad
went by CRISPUS (we have no first name and I'm
told that the 'US' was dropped from the name
when he move to America from Greece. He came
(CRISPUS) here and married an Indian (cherokee)
in Georgia. Jim Crisp was probably born in 1850.
