Looking for information on the parents and family of William W. Crisp. WILLIAM W. CRISP was born Abt. 1783 in NC, and died Abt. 1857 in Cooke Co., TX. He married ELIZABETH MATTHEWS, daughter of OLIVER MATTHEWS and EVANS.

His father is possibly William Crisp b. Abt. 1735 in North Carolina and d. 1776-1826 in Laurens Co., South Carolina.

He possibly had a sister, Pennina Lucinda Crisp b. Abt. 1773 in North Carolina, d. January 12, 1855 in Rockwell, Kaufman Co., Texas. She was the wife of Joseph Cromwell Matthews.

We would like confirmation of these relationships: that William Crisp is the father of William W. Crisp and that Pennina was his sister. Also would like to know if William W. Crisp had other sibblings.
