Hello. Proud to be the first posting in this group.

My great great grandmother's name was Maria Louise Crisman (she married Fred Rick Fiese). She was born in Beloit, Rock Co., WI. Her parents were Thomas Crisman and Elizabeth Padfield. Thomas Crisman's mother's name was Mary "Polly" and I suspect that his father's name was William Crisman although William is gone by the 1840 census records.

Thomas Crisman also had several siblings, of which I only know the name of two, suspect the name of another, and haven't a clue about the rest. Fredric Hartchell Crisman(aka T.H. Crisman) was the oldest sibling of this bunch and became head of the house in the 1840 census for St. Clair Co., IL. They had a sister Catherine that also married into the Padfield family. Possibly a name of another one was Stewart or Steward Crisman but I know nothing beyond this suspecion because I saw him in the census record.

Some of the Crisman's left WI and migrated further west to NE.

I'd love to contact with anyone that thinks they may hook up with this line and exchange info.

Thanks.
