My great great grandparents were Jonathan CRISLER b ca 1807 and his wife Mary Ann MC CANE. They are recorded on Cherokee Co AL Census as being from GA. Their daughter Louisa Eldra CRISLER b ca 1836, married James Martin BARR b ca 1832, who also is reported to be from GA. James and Louisa were the parents of my great grandfather William Franklin BARR, who married Martha Jane HALE in 1882 in Leesburg AL. On the 1880 Cherokee Co AL Census is the family of C. CRISLER f, 44, GA and her children born in AL. There is also the family of N L VANCE f, 60, GA and children born in GA, SC and AL and that of Thomas DUKE 32, born in GA. These GA families are related. I would really appreciate hearing from you. I cannot find a good legible map of the counties in GA and wonder if you know where to find one. Thank you very much, Patty
