Hi, James W. Crippen. You apparently were referring to the long list posted (Message #623) by Pam Schlotzhauer, not me.
I finally foundthe list (much shorter, that I mentioned to you in an e-mail) that my deceased friend Linna Young, a Crippen descendant, gave me. Her line is
Edward Fuller (1575-1621) & Ann
Samuel Fuller (ca 1611-1683) & Jane Lathrop
John Fuller (1656-1726) & Mehitable Rowley
Thankful Fuller (female) (1688-1740) & Jabez Crippen
Samuel Crippen (1724-1782) & Keziah Algar/Alger
David Crippen (1748-1812) & Electa Hopkins
Ebenezer Crippen (1792-1855) & Rebecca Smith
Catherine Crippen (1821-1915) & Richard Goyn
I do not know whether the list is accurate or not. Linna was seeking proof that Ebenezer Crippen was the son of David Crippen. She hoped to prove Mayflower descent through the line.
David was born in 1748 in Connecticut and died probably in Canada. Ebenezer was born 24 Sept. 1792 in Vermont and died 27 Oct. 1855 in Michigan. He married Rebecca Smith in 1815 in Canada.
May the info Linna gave me prove useful to you and your friends who are longtime, dedicated Crippen researchers. I wish Linna had lived to know about you and your work.
