Electa Crippin (nee Electa Hopkins?) and David Crippen

The Washington County, New York, Will Testators Index C-D lists Electa M. Crippen at Fort Ann in Volume 3A, page 410.

Interested parties may write to the Town Clerk, 80 George Street (or Post Office Box 314), Fort Ann, New York 12827, USA, for further information. A copy of the will may be available, probably for a fee.

This Electa may or may not be the Electa Hopkins (born ca 1750) who married David Crippen (born 1748 in Connecticut, died ca 1767 in Canada).

I am not a Crippen descendant. I ran across the index information while doing a little web searching for a friend, a Crippen descendant who now is deceased. She said David Crippen probably is a descendant of the Fullers who came to America on the ship Mayflower.

The Mayflower line down to David would go Edward Fuller and Ann, Samuel Fuller and Jane Lathrop, John Fuller and Mehitable Rowley, Thankful Fuller and Jabez Crippen, Samuel Crippen and Keziah Algar, David Crippen and Electa Hopkins.
