Has anyone seen this spelling of Crippen in any records from OHIO ?, Cripins.
I found Eliza Cripins,George,Theropolus, and Martha Cripins in the Upper Sabine, Calcasieu, LA. ,1880 census. I think that this is my husbands family. Think that Theropolus changes his name to Dee C. Crippen sometimes after he and Martha married. This could also be a misspelling on the takers part. Found marriage license for Theropulus and Martha Hays in this parish. Anyone have any ideas on this ? Our Dee was married to Martha Lou
"Hattie "Hays. Some chance this is them.
