I am looking for information on any Crippen / Crippens family that was in MS and/or LA and/or AR from 1849 through 1875.

I need information on Thomas Jefferson (Jeff) Crippen/Crippens/Crippin/Crippins. The only census I can find him in is 1880 and it shows he was born in MS. However, we all know how wrong that can be. His wife WAS born in MS, but maybe he wasn't??

She was in Natchitoches Parish in 1870 and their first and second child was born in AR, 1873 & 1875. Don't know for sure if they married in LA or AR. By 1877 they had moved to Red River Co TX where he died abt 1883.

I have been looking for information on him for a long time, so any clue at all would be very much appreciated. I have not been able to find him in the 1850, 1860 or 1870 census.

If you can help, please get in touch.

Thanks, Jo
