Hi Jamye, I believe I am related to this family through my mother's father, Kenneth Fritch. We believe his biological father was Delos Crippen who was married to Agnes O'Rourke. The story goes like this, Ida Weaver married Charles Henry Fritch around the time of my grandfather's birth, 1904 or 1905. They divoriced around 4 years later and my grandfather was raised by the Crippens. Delos Crippen and his wife, Etta Davis had a daughter, Georgia Bell Crippen who passed away in the late 1960's, my mother, Loretta Fritch Chambers, always called her aunt Georgia. About a year ago I had an e-mail from Phyllis Sarratore who told me that her father and my grandfather were half brothers. Her father is a Crippen, she said that when my grandmother was ill in California in the early 1960's, that her mother and I believe she said Margaret Crippen came out to help my grandfather take care of her. This could be the Margaret Crippen that is your grandmother, that means that her father and your grandmother were siblings.
