Kelli,
My mom made the error of thinking John A.'s parents were David and Elizabeth Worden Crippen. We know for sure that John A. Crippen that married Nancy is not the son of David. That John married a Prudence Rose.
I have been trying to figure out who John A.'s parents were too.
I know that the Phillip/Silas/Jabez is for sure NOT our John A., because Phillip's John A. died on 26 Sep 1849.
Since we know John A. was born in 1820 in Cayuga county, NY, I have been trying to find out the children's names of William Crippen, and Alanson Crippen. Both of them are sons of Noah Crippen, and had boys around the same age as our John A., but so far, I haven't been able to track down any children's names.
If you find our more on this, please let me know.
