ORA GRAVES, JASON GRAVES and JONAN GRAVES, sons of JEDEDIAH GRAVES and POLLY CRIPPEN, had migrated with their families from Herkimer County, New York to Penfield, Monroe County, New York by the late 1820's These men are found in the Census of 1830 for Penfield, Monroe County living in close proximity to the descendents of EZRA CRIPPEN. EZRA was the son of JOHN CRIPPEN and MARY RICHMOND. EZRA CRIPPEN died in Penfield, Monroe County, N.Y. on March 3, 1813.

It appears that several of JOHN CRIPPEN and MARY RICHMOND'S sons passed through Spencertown, New York.
