According to my Cripe records, John Cripe, 1744-1814, married Elizabeth Rench, 1750-1815. One of their sons is John Cripe, Jr., 1780-1818 whose wife was Catherine Rench Ulrich, 1784-?. Could this be the Catherine Ullery you saw listed, since Ulrich was an earlier form of Ullery? To make matters more complicated, another one of John Cripe Sr.'s daughters, Catherine Cripe, 1781-1858, married Joseph Rench Ulrich, 1778 - ?. I always got tangled up in the Cripes and Ullerys when I tried to research!!
My Cripe line is Jacob Greib-Daniel Cripe-John Cripe-Peter Cripe-Jacob U. Cripe-Vernon Cripe- and my mother, Virginia Cripe. My Cripes have been in St. Joseph County Indiana since the 1830's.
Hope this helps. Pat
