Hi David!
It turns out that the original David Cripe is my great-grandfather. (He's my dad's- dad's- dad) David had my Grandfather Eivan; Eivan had my dad Roger, Uncle Bruce and Aunt Bonnie. (Marlene is my dad's cousin, my 2nd cousin)
I talked to my dad and he told me that your father knows my uncle Bruce L. Cripe (Mpls)- they've talked a lot becuase my uncle is trying to put togther a family tree. My dad said he even met your dad at the last Cripe family reunion in Eau Claire a few years ago!
So, if I'm getting this right...my great-grandfather and your grandfather were brothers- so my grandfather and your dad were cousins (My grandfather passed away about 15 years ago) so that makes you and my dad 2nd cousins or something like that?
My dad (Roger E. Cripe) went on to have my brother David R. Cripe, my other brother Andrew B. Cripe, and me- Melissa L. Cripe.
I just found this site because I was looking up my brother's law web page on the internet and stumbled upon this!
