Looking for a descendant of Samuel Cripe b. 3-Oct-1831 IN; d. 13-Jul-1917 Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo Co., CA, m. Margueretta Betz. Samuel was son of Rinehart, who was son of Daniel Sr., who was son of Jacob the immigrant. Samuel and Margueretta had at least one child, James Samuel Cripe.

I received word from a woman in Correctionville, Iowa, who wrote, "I am going through old genealogy books and cutting out the family histories that are in them. I found one on the Samuel and Margueretta (Betz) Cripe's Bible. If you would like it, send a SASE to Eleanore Lewis, 1706 Lucas Ave., Correctionville, Iowa 51016. Clearly mention the name CRIPE. Her e-mail is elliemae@netins.net.
