Dear Mary Jane,
I got some of my information regarding this line from a Tony Brannigan in Australia. His GGfather was Thomas Crinion born Collon 1829 , son of Michael Crinion & Anne Bannon. Thomas' younger brother,James, also ended up in Australia and he sent monies home for a monument / headstone to be erected to the memory of his parents. This monument is available to see ( just about ) on line at

I had taken photos and forwarded them on to Tony . I have the full inscription too if you'd like this.In the photo at this site, the Crinion Monument is the first tall monument to the right of the church spire / not the cruciform styled one. Please let me know if you cannot find the above link I found it through cyndislist.com , go to Ireland then Louth and then Collon. If you'd like furthar information or the full inscription leave your email address and I'll forward them directly to you. Also see crinion message board at ancestry.com for others looking for a Patrick Crinion / Crinnion from Collon. Are you in Australia ??????? I'm in Ireland .M. Crinion.
