I'm really new at this, but I have some info. My ggggrandfather was William Criner m. to Mary Jane Hefley. Here's what I have:
John Criner m. ? I don't know where they came from.
- John Criner Jr.(b.1768) m. Elizabeth Ibby
-William Thomas Criner (b1814)m. Mary Jane
Hefley (b1814)
-Joseph Henderson Criner (b1843) m.Martha
Louvina Cheatham (b.1843)
-Louisa Caroline Criner(b1864)m.William
Chester Holt
Louisa Caroline Criner was my mother's (Goldie Hudson) grandmother. I got some of my information from two great books, 'Newton County Family History' and 'Newton County Cemeteries'. The rest of my info came from my 82 year old mother who has a pretty good memory.
I would appreciate any information I could receive on this line of my family.
