Great great great grandpa John J. Crimmins was born in County Clare, Ireland in 1831. His wife was Mary Conner or McDonald. Their children : Patrick b. 1854, John Jr. 1856 Michael b. 1858 and Timothy b. 1863 all born in Indiana. Their mother Mary died in 1863 and all four boys were placed with strangers, two on a farm in Indian and then the father went to Iowa to be with his mother. I found the family in the 1860 Indiana Census and John Jr. and Timothy in the 1870 Indiana Census with the Jacob Sack family in Indiana. Jacob Sack was 29 and Regina Sack was 28. The only children were John and Timothy who were 14 and 7. Both boys went to Iowa when they were adults. They are buried in Keokuk, Iowa. I do not know what happened to Patrick and Michael Crimmins. Thanks for any help. Eileen
