I was recently told (by an uncle b4 he died) that my ggfather (Robert Hudson, Birth: 22 Sep 1834 Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland) served in the Crimean War ( probably as a blacksmith )....

Are there any records I can check ( prefer online ) to
verify or otherwise this...............please.

Robert Hudson
(eldest son of eldest son as far as I can trace back)
