I'm still trying all evenues to establish William's service in Crimea. He was Born Antrim, Ireland 1832. His parents James & Esther (Callendar) Thomson. His father was a "master flesher". He married Annie Laing, Glasgow, 1863.

I found, 2062 Pte William Thomson, 93rd Foot (Sutherland Highlanders)wounded.

William immigrated to Australia in cc1865, he had a known lung disorder, and he helped to form the Volunteer Rifles in the town of Maryborough, Queensland, Australia. He served as a sergeant, and when he died he was given full military funeral.

Has anyone any access to any information to establish if the Pte Thomson above could be my William?

Regards
