The only James Williams that rode in the Charge of the Light Brigade was 663 Corporal James Williams, 11th Hussars, who was born In Leeds, not Little Rissington. His father was also named James Williams and was born in Debtford County, Kent Parish.
There was only one other James Williams serving in the Light Cavalry at the time, 1785 James Williams, 13th Light Dragoons, but he did not participate in the Charge as he arrived in the Crimea on 9 July 1855, roughly 9 months after the charge.
