I am trying to find out if I can get service records for my 2xgr grandfather. He served in the above wars. I am not sure which regiment but I do know that he was based at Woolwich before leaving for the Crimea in early 1855 and was from Cornwall. I do know from a photo we have of him as an elderly man he had 4 medals.

Can some one confirm what RSM means? It was on a newspaper notice for his daughters marriage.

I am also trying to find information on his wife who may have gone with hime. She was born in Buckfastleigh and on my grt grandmothers birth certificate it gives her maiden name aa Cole. As yet I can not find any marriage for them.

I would be grateful for any help.
Lynda
